Why?

We weren’t getting much out of reviews.

It seemed like they were mostly either a press release, a summary of the plot, or some petty meanness.

And that’s when we got them at all.

But we did have great conversations about the shows we saw. These conversations, when we had them about our own work with trusted friends, made us better. So we decided to put them online. We wanted our responses to be available to theatermakers, and we wanted them to be able to respond to what we said.
